What will your working day look like?

As a valuable member of a positive, hardworking team, you will be working closely with the Trust’s Business Development Manager. Day to day, you will have responsibilities supporting the central office function, providing excellent customer service.  You will also support and have input into creative, engaging marketing and communication projects, such as working with websites and social media.

 

What training will you be getting?

Exeter college, rated Outstanding by Ofsted, will be leading your formal training.  You will spend approximately one day a week attending college, working towards Level 2 or 3 Customer Service and Business Administration Apprenticeship Qualifications.  At work, you will be fully supported and receive on the job training.

We are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant who can provide 1:1 support for a small group of pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) who require additional support with their EHCP targets.

Are you passionate about providing children with a safe and structured mealtime where they can eat and play with their friends. If so, St Michael's CofE Primary Academy, based in Exeter, are looking for a Mealtime Assistant to join their team. We are looking for a caring individual who can lead play, interact with the children and undertake the responsibility of supervising and ensuring the safety of the children at all times.

 

St Michael’s CofE Primary school is an Outstanding school, located in Heavitree, Exeter. It has capacity for around 420 pupils, who’s behaviour is usually exemplary in lessons and around school. The school is inclusive and as such, welcomes children with a range of needs and from a variety of backgrounds.  The school has enjoyed an excellent reputation for serving the local community for over 140 years.

 

The main duties of the role are:

 

  • Set up the dining hall.
  • To set up and lead play activities in the playground.
  • Supervision of all pupils during their mealtime and organising the dinner queue
  • To co-ordinate play for pupils.
  • To assist with the well-being of pupils during lunchtime.
  • To support the supervision of children during lunch and play, using your initiative to ensure caring quality provision is continuously made.

 

Experience of working with children is not essential, just the passion to help improve the life chances of children within a school environment whilst being prepared to work inside and outside in all weathers.
