Contract Term: Full time, fixed term initially anticipated until August 2021
Hours: 32.5
Salary: STC Grade 2 – NJC Points 3-5 Starting Salary £13,669 per annum (£18,562 FTE)
Term Time only: 38 weeks per annum
We are looking for two passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our collaborative academy, which is dedicated to developing our great team, centred around humility and respect. This is an exciting opportunity to join St Leonard's CofE Primary School, in Exeter, part of St Christopher's Multi Academy Trust. As part of your role you will be providing support and guidance on a 1:1 basis for our PPG pupils.
St Leonard's CofE Primary School currently has around 630 pupils, set on a large plot, the school benefits from large open spaces for children to engage with learning outdoors, whilst having plenty of space to enjoy break and lunch times with friends. The school has experienced continued growth and success, and is proud to serve the community with links to the local church and charities. The staff at St Leonard's CofE Primary School are a positive, hard-working team, dedicated to being the ‘best that they can be’.
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a calm and patient demeanour, who is committed to helping young people achieve their full potential. You will have had previous experience in working with children in a similar setting and be able to effectively communicate with adults and children alike.
