Salary Grade: SC Level 2 – SCP 3-5 Starting salary £9.62 per hour (FTE £18,562)*

Hours: 27.5 (Monday–Friday)

Term Time only – 39 weeks per annum

 

*This position includes some whole class cover (7.5 hrs per week) for which an additional enhanced payment will be paid.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to join Plympton St Marys Infant School, part of St Christopher's Multi Academy Trust. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our collaborative school, which is dedicated to developing our great team, centred around humility and respect.

You will have had previous experience in working with children in a similar setting preferably KS1 and be able to effectively communicate with adults and children alike. Working in partnership with the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom assisting pupils to learn and reach their full potential. This role will include some whole class cover and this will be paid at an enhanced rate for the hours worked.  If you have high expectations and understanding of behaviour of all pupils, experience of delivering interventions for children and can create and maintain a purposeful learning environment we would welcome your application to be part of our successful and hardworking team
