Welcome to Phil Banks, our new CEO

We're delighted to welcome Phil Banks, who has been appointed to be our new CEO, joining our Trust in September 2025.

Phil shared his enthusiasm for his new role, saying, 'I'm thrilled to be appointed. The recruitment process was thorough and focused on ensuring my values aligned with those of the Trust. I have a strong belief that belonging is the central tenet of any successful relationship. St Christopher's is a very special Trust with a strong reputation in the Southwest, and I'm very much looking forward to getting to know the staff and schools better.'

Phil takes over from Jo Evans, who has led our Trust for the last 9 years. We'll be celebrating Jo's outstanding contribution over the remainder of this school year. Jo will be working freelance from September pursuing her passions of strategy development and SEND.
