After School Club Manager - St Matthew's, Plymouth

Salary: FTE £21,322
Grade: St Christopher’s Grade 4 (points 10-13)
Hours: 17 hours per week (Monday-Friday 3pm-6pm and two hours per week for planning)
Weeks per Annum: 38

This is an exciting opportunity to manage, grow and develop a great after school provision for pupils in a new, purpose-built school with excellent facilities. The successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to both manage the after-school club and put their personal stamp on the role as they organise and develop the range of activities.

We are looking for candidates with a minimum NVQ Level 2 qualification in play work or childcare, or somebody currently studying towards the relevant qualification with experience of working with children in an education setting who will be confident line managing a team. If you are someone who can provide a nourishing environment for our pupils who has the ability to maintain a positive and caring approach with an appreciation of the differing needs and abilities of primary age children, then we would be really interested in hearing from you.
