Meet Our Team

Rachel joined St Christopher’s in 2022 following 19 years of graduate experience working in commercial and public sector HR and Learning and Development, and as a School Business Manager in the maintained school sector.

She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, holds the Level 5 Advanced Diploma in School Business Management and is a qualified Coach and Mentor through the Institute of Leadership and Management.

Rachel leads on operational and strategic aspects of the People Strategy and manages our experienced and committed People team.

At the heart of Rachel’s leadership vision is ensuring all employees potential flourishes, fostering a people culture that prioritises excellence in all HR process and ensures strong and reflective leadership practices in employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, professional development and wellbeing.  

Rachel delivers internal training as part of our CPD offer supporting leaders and teams in developing a range of skills, leads our Trust Internal Coaching Network and has previously been a training partner for the South West Institute for Teaching, delivering on the School Business and People Leadership Development Programme.
