St Michael's CofE Primary Academy

The school motto is inspired by the Apostle Paul: "For in Him you have been enriched in every way, with all kinds of speech and with all knowledge".  1 Corinthians 1-5 provides the basis of the Christian values of: Excellence; Nurture; Respect; Integrity; Compassion; Hope (ENRICH).

Located in Heavitree, Exeter, a Church of England primary school has occupied the site since 1871. The school  has enjoyed an excellent reputation for serving the local community for over 140 years. In September 2013 the school status changed from C of E Primary School to C of E Primary Academy. Under these new arrangements, the school progressed from 'requires improvement' to 'outstanding' in just over two years.
