We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our KS2 team within our collaborative school, which is dedicated to developing our great team, centred around humility and respect.
Old Priory Junior School is part of the St Christopher’s Trust - a family of 17 Church and Community Schools spanning three local authorities and providing a rich network of collaboration. Situated in Plympton, Plymouth we are a popular Junior school because of the high expectations and because our school values underpin all that we do. Our core value is love and we aim to show that in everything that we do in our school: in our lives as teachers; in our relationships with the children and their families; and in our determination to provide the best learning and pastoral experiences for all of our children.
You will have had previous experience in working with children in a similar setting preferably within KS2 and be able to effectively communicate with adults and children alike. If you have high expectations and understanding of behaviour of all pupils, experience of delivering interventions for children and can create and maintain a purposeful learning environment we would welcome your application to be part of our successful and hardworking team.
As a Church of England school, you will be happy to support the Anglican ethos through our school values.
