Are you an experienced HR professional in the education sector ready to take the lead of a team of three in continuing to establish the HR administration and operations for a multi academy trust? Are you detail orientated, with a passion for establishing systems and process and enjoy knowing that what you do helps to shape individual lives within school communities?
Then take the step in joining St Christopher’s Trust as HR Operations Team Lead, a new role where you will be managing an enthusiastic and capable team of 2 Administrators and a Coordinator whilst implementing new systems and procedures. Reporting to the HR Manager, you’ll be working as part of a passionate and collaborative HR team that supports our growing family of 17 church and community primary schools. Our HR team members are remotely based across our Central Office in Exeter or at one of our local academies across Devon (the Academies section on our website will show you where these are located).
You’ll need to have comprehensive experience of HR administration and safer recruitment processes within the education sector, ideally within a primary or secondary setting or from a multi academy trust. You’ll be professionally qualified with Level 5 CIPD and used to taking responsibility for your own professional development. You’ll also be ready to lead a team, coaching and supporting them to collectively achieve the Trust HR strategy.
In this role you’ll be responsible for ensuring our processes do what they need to, with employee experience at its heart. Having a trust-wide responsibility, you’ll get to put your great organisation and communication to effective use. Curious, focused, and values-driven, you’ll be motivated by working in a small HR team with a big impact. Keeping our Christian values at the heart of everything you do, your communication to our academies and the team will coach them in their actions and keep focused on our vision of flourishing communities.
