Location – Any one of our schools across Plymouth, Devon & Torbay, or our central office in Exeter
Are you an experienced Administrator, passionate about ensuring processes are carried out in a thorough and methodical way? Do you have experience of managing priorities and working to deadlines, ensuring that you manage information confidentially?
St Christopher’s Trust are looking for an individual to join us as a HR Administrator. In this role you’ll be part of a team of administrators processing contract documents, making payroll changes and support recruitment administration as part of a Central Team HR for our 18 church and community schools and central team. Keeping our Christian values at the heart of everything you do, you’ll be part of a HR Team that are passionate about the culture and values of our trust. You will be based from either one of our local schools across Devon or from our Central Office in Exeter, take a look at our Schools section on our website to find out where these are located.
Previous experience working in HR and / or a school environment would be an advantage but it is not essential. You’ll need to have experience within Administration; ensuring accuracy of data, managing multiple systems and have a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks including assisting in recruitment days, managing all aspects of employee records and payroll, managing claims for overtime with accurate and timely updates to the various HR and school systems. You’ll be motivated by working in an administrative role, comfortable with reporting, problem solving and using IT systems. You’ll be happy to work independently and remotely whilst following processes and checklists, and also working as part of a wider HR team. Applicants must demonstrate excellent professional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly with people in different schools/offices.
