Hours: 1 x role for 30hours per week Monday – Friday 8:45am – 3.15pm
Grade: HLTA SC Grade 5 - NJC 14 (£23,080 fte) or Teaching Assistant SC Grade 2 - NJC 5 (£19,312 fte)
Weeks per annum: 38

St Peter's Church of England Primary school are seeking to appoint either a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or a Teaching Assistant who will be able to support our EYFS children with their learning. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to make a difference to the provision and development of our pupils.
At St Peter’s Primary there is a real sense of community between the school, the surrounding area and St Peters Church. A strength of our school is its size: we are a small school with currently 160 children on roll, including a nursery. It means we know all our children and families well and can make sure that we do our best to develop their learning in a happy, safe, secure and values - respecting environment.
You will have previous experience in working with children in a similar setting and be able to effectively communicate with adults and children alike. Working in partnership with the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom assisting pupils to learn and reach their full potential. Applicants should be willing to work flexibly to meet the needs of the wider school and work across the primary age range if required. If you have high expectations and understanding of behaviour of all pupils, experience of delivering interventions for children and can create and maintain a purposeful learning environment we would welcome your application to be part of our successful and hardworking team.
