At Plympton St Mary Infants, we are looking for an EYFS Teacher/Leader who will oversee all aspects of the Early Years phase including the potential to develop nursery provision in the future. We are looking for someone who is up for a challenge and wants to get stuck in with all aspects of our school life!
Part of the St Christopher’s Trust, you will be joining a strong family of Church and Community Schools spanning three local authorities that provide a rich network of collaboration, supporting you in achieving long-term career aspirations through bespoke development opportunities
What we're looking for:
We are looking for an outstanding classroom practitioner within Early Years who may already have some leadership experience within their setting, or someone who is ready to take the next step in their career. You will be someone who is highly driven and motivated, has an eye for detail, and can work flexible and creatively. The successful candidate will: - Be motivated to achieve the very best for the children in our care and be relentless in the pursuit of excellence - Possess excellent inter-personal and leadership skills as well as the ability to inspire and challenge colleagues
- Be able to fire children’s imagination and curiosity in learning through the development of an irresistible learning environment underpinned by rigorous planning and teaching.
- Have proven experience as an effective good and outstanding classroom teacher - Have experience of working with children of different ages within the Early Years - Have the ability to lead aspects of school improvement and ensure that all children are given opportunities to excel
