Before and After School Club Lead - All Saints Babbacombe, Torquay

Contract Term: Permanent
Grade: SC Level 3 – NJC Points 6 - 9
Starting Salary: £10.21 per hour £8,701 per annum (FTE £19,698)
Hours: 19 hours per week 7:30 – 8:45 and 3:15 – 5:30 Monday to Friday plus planning and preparation time. Term Time only - 39 weeks.
All Saints Babbacombe out of school club aim to provide pupils of all ages with a fun and safe place to start and end their day. As a result, we are looking to recruit a before and after-school club lead (BASCL) to be able to plan and deliver play activities for our pupils. You will be responsible for the development and daily management of the Breakfast & Afterschool Club provision, providing a safe and caring environment in line with relevant national standards and guidance, where children can enjoy a range of enriched play, learning and leisure activities, guided by our school values. You will line manage the team of Assistants, managing their performance to support and develop them in their practice.

Previous experience in a similar setting would be preferable, the successful candidate will be someone who is approachable, enthusiastic and patient who can effectively communicate with children and parents alike, and can support the values of our ‘Babbacombe family’.
