After-School Club Assistant – St Matthew’s CofE Primary and Nursery Academy
Contract Term: Part Time / Permanent
Hours: 11 hours per week (3pm – 5.45pm Monday – Thursday)
Grade: SC Grade 1 SCP Range 1-2 £4.447 per annum (£17,842 – 18,198 per annum FTE)
Weeks per annum: 38

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated After-School Club Playworker to join our collaborative school, which is dedicated to developing our great team and centred around humility and respect.
As an After-School club Assistant for St Matthew’s CofE Primary and Nursery Academy, your role will involve working under the direction of the supervisor to provide a caring and secure environment for the pupils who attend the after-school club. You will assist in developing engaging activities, and work to develop good working relationships with children and parents alike.
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a calm and patient demeanour, who is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all our children. You will have good interpersonal skills and a fun approach to inspiring children’s play.
