Teacher (Maternity leave) - Beer Primary School

Required from early November 2018.

Beer C of E Primary School (part of the Ark Federation and St Christopher’s MAT) is seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated and inspirational teacher to work in a mixed Year 3/4 Class (1.0FTE) to cover maternity leave until May 2019.

We are looking for:

  • An outstanding practitioner with experience in Key Stage 2;

  • A depth of knowledge about planning for effective learning which accelerates progress;

  • Someone who can continue to develop excellent relationships with parents and inspire confidence at a time of change;

  • Someone who can foster an enjoyable but rigorous learning environment;

  • A commitment to a dedicated teaching team;

  • A passion for high quality learning and teaching with the ability to challenge and inspire children;

  • Someone who is willing to participate actively in the wider school community;

  • Someone who can successfully lead a core subject area (preferably Sport);

  • Someone who will support our Christian ethos and distinctiveness of the school.

We would like to explore the possibility of a phased transition from mid-October with the successful candidate.

The Ark Federation consists of All Saints CE Primary School and Beer C of E Primary School and joined St Christopher’s MAT in October 2016.
