Beer C of E Primary School is a 4 class village school with mixed age classes – currently YR/1, Y1/2, Y3/4 and Y5/6. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated practitioner with proven classroom practice who is capable of leading and developing others and are looking to place the successful candidate in UKS2.

Beer C of E Primary and All Saints CE Primary (Axminster) form the Ark Federation under an Executive Headteacher and jointly belong to St Christopher’s Multi Academy Trust.

The role will have responsibility for developing the teaching and learning within the school through supporting the Executive Headteacher in the day to day running of the school and leading a team of classroom teachers to improve the quality of teaching, learning and provision. The postholder will also be responsible for the strategic leadership and development of Literacy. This is an exciting opportunity to take the next steps in your leadership journey through leading a team and impacting on whole school development. There will be weekly release time from classroom responsibilities to allow the postholder to carry out the role.

Continue and develop the links we have within the local community and St Michael’s Church in Beer.
