The post of an apprentice to the Trust central team is a new role and an exciting opportunity for someone that wants to start out on a career in administration, retrain or re-join a career journey.

You will undertake general administration in our busy office, and work towards achieving a L3 Diploma in Business Administration. The successful applicant will be personable with excellent communication skills, and the ability to undertake tasks with initiative, work within agreed time-frames, be well organised and calm, be willing to learn new systems and be capable of flexible working to support the central team.  You will be dealing with personal data so confidentiality is key.

You need a commitment to your own learning, which will be supported by Exeter College through the apprenticeship programme.

Working as part of our central team at St Christopher’s, based in Exeter, you will report directly to the Central Operations Administrator but will work closely with all members of the central team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join St Christopher’s Multi Academy Trust, where we draw regularly from the support of dedicated colleagues and directors. The ideal candidate will uphold the strong ethos of the Trust based on its Christian values, and will become part of a positive team, who are hard-working and very welcoming.

The application process will also include an assessment by Exeter College to ensure your suitability for the apprenticeship course; this is a supportive process to ensure you are fully aware of the apprenticeship pathway expectations.

If you wish to have an informal discussion about the role, please contact Julia Croughton by email  and leave your contact details.
