Hub Business Manager (St Leonard’s)

Contract: 37 hours, 40 weeks p/a

Salary: NJC points 30 – 35, £32,878 – 37,849 FTE.   Actual salary pro rata: £28,626 - £32,954

Benefits: Local Government Pension Scheme

Location: Based at St Leonard’s C of E Primary School, St Leonard’s Road, Exeter, EX2 4NQ


St Christopher’s is a Multi Academy Trust with 17 Primary Academies.   The Trust is moving to operating in a ‘hub’ model and due to its size, St Leonards is a hub on its own.  We are looking for an experienced Academy Business Manager who is approachable, flexible with a friendly disposition to manage our busy school administration team at St Leonard’s C of E Primary School, Exeter.


You will be responsible for the office team as well as managing the finance, personnel and premises, together with H&S.   You will be able to work with initiative, be able to meet demanding deadlines as well as be personable, well organised, calm and have excellent communication skills. The job will involve extensive prioritising and effective communication within the team. You will be willing to learn new systems and be capable of flexible working in a fast -paced academy environment.
